Description

A Slice of Heaven Cake is a decadent delight that combines fluffy layers and rich chocolate, perfect for any celebration or sweet craving. It’s an easy-to-make cake that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Whole Milk
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Heavy Cream
  • Confectioners’ Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk until fully combined.
  4. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  5. Whip heavy cream with confectioners’ sugar until stiff peaks form. Frost between layers and on top of the cooled cakes.
