  • 1 cup apple cider (fresh-pressed)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme (for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and pat dry the chicken breasts.
  2. In a bowl, mix together apple cider, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Pour the apple cider mixture over the chicken and let it bubble for 3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste occasionally with glaze.
  6. Sprinkle fresh thyme before serving.
