  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Optional: chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the brownie mix with eggs and melted butter until well combined. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.
  5. Once brownies are cooled, spread half of the frosting over them. Optionally layer additional brownie pieces on top and then add the remaining frosting.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles right before serving.
