Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add Butterfinger Pieces: Gently fold in the crushed Butterfinger pieces.
  7. Shape and Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
