Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (about 7-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Gently fold in chopped lobster meat, then combine with the cooked pasta.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish, top with panko breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
