  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  2. Melt butter and cocoa powder in a saucepan over low heat until smooth; remove from heat.
  3. Stir in granulated and brown sugars, then add eggs one at a time until combined.

  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it, and repeat with remaining batter and caramel.
