Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and red food coloring.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  5. For the cheesecake filling, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Scoop red velvet dough into your hand, flatten it slightly, place a dollop of filling in the center, wrap it up, and roll into balls.
  7. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until set around the edges but still soft in the middle.
