Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar (for topping)
  • Oil for frying (enough for deep frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the cherry pie filling, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with one corner facing you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly away from you to seal.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until hot. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar after removing from oil.
