Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same pot, heat butter or olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
    • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Combine:
    • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water. Season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes, if desired.
  4. Serve:
    • Transfer to plates, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy warm.
