  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sauté until browned on both sides (approximately 5-7 minutes per side) until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to incorporate all flavors.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and shredded jack cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake uncovered for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving; pair with rice or pasta.
