Description

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt flakes for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in half of the salted caramel sauce. Reserve the rest for drizzling.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, drop mounds of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden around the edges but still soft in the center.
  7. Let cool slightly before drizzling remaining caramel sauce and sprinkling sea salt flakes on top.
