- 15–18 Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Assemble Cookies: Take a spoonful of dough, flatten it, and place an Oreo in the center. Wrap the dough around the Oreo, sealing the edges. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake: Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set. Let cool before serving.
