Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix Together: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in pecans.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool & Serve: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
