Description

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles if using.
  7. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto prepared sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
