Description

Easter Poke Cake is a vibrant, flavor-packed dessert that combines moist cake with colorful gelatin and creamy topping, making it the perfect centerpiece for your spring celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water (or milk for extra flavor)
  • 1 package (3 oz) flavored gelatin (strawberry or raspberry)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, etc.)
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth and pour into the prepared dish.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
  4. After cooling for about 15 minutes, poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork.
  5. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water per package instructions and pour over the poked cake.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Spread whipped topping on top and garnish with fresh fruit.
