- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat)
- 1/2 cucumber, grated (excess moisture squeezed out)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parsley, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- While baking, prepare tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Serve meatballs hot alongside tzatziki sauce.
