  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat)
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated (excess moisture squeezed out)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parsley, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
  5. While baking, prepare tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  6. Serve meatballs hot alongside tzatziki sauce.
