  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 medium sweet yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. 1. Prep the vegetables: Slice the onion and bell pepper into thin strips.
  2. 2. Sauté vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Add onions and bell peppers; cook until soft and caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. 3. Cook ground beef: Push veggies aside; add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned (8-10 minutes) and fully cooked.
  4. 4. Add seasonings: Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper over the beef mixture; stir to combine.
