Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 cup raw almonds (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste.
  2. Add chopped almonds, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and sea salt. Pulse until well combined and sticky.
  3. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture and press it down firmly into an even layer.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
  5. Once firm, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares or rectangles.
