  • 1 lb ground beef (15% fat)
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef and Italian sausage until browned (8-10 minutes).
  2. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  3. Lower heat and place provolone cheese on top, covering for about 2 minutes until melted.
  4. Slice slider buns and place the bottom halves on a baking tray. Spoon meat mixture onto each bun and add marinara sauce.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake sliders uncovered for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
