  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, miso paste, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the Salmon: Remove salmon from marinade and place skin-side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky.
  5. Add Final Touches: Drizzle reserved marinade over salmon during the last two minutes of baking.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top before serving.
