- 1 small onion, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 wooden or metal skewers
- 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh dill or mint, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into oval patties around the skewers.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grill kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
- For tzatziki, combine Greek yogurt with cucumber, lemon juice, dill or mint in a bowl; season with salt.
- Serve hot kebabs with tzatziki sauce for dipping.
