  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a cast-iron skillet or oven-safe pan, melt butter over medium heat until bubbly.
  4. Carefully pour the batter into the hot skillet over the melted butter.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Avoid opening the oven door during baking.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into wedges and serve warm.
