Description

Mint Lemonade is a refreshing and invigorating drink that combines zesty lemons and cool mint, perfect for summer gatherings or a cozy afternoon at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1015 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and additional mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons until you have one cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a large pitcher, muddle the mint leaves gently to release their oils.
  3. Add sugar or honey to the muddled mint and stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and cold water, mixing well to combine.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices and extra mint leaves before serving.
