- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- Cook the orecchiette in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

- Gradually add reserved pasta water while stirring to create a silky sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked orecchiette into the skillet until well combined with the sauce. Adjust consistency with more pasta water if necessary.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
