  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion until translucent (about 5-7 minutes). Add bell pepper; cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Add steak along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until just browned (3-4 minutes).
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the steak mixture and sprinkle with cheese on one end of each rectangle; roll tightly.
  6. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
