  • 4 cups fresh apples (mixed varieties like Honeycrisp and Granny Smith), chopped
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin purée (100% pumpkin)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the apples into wedges.
  2. In your Instant Pot, add the apple wedges, canned pumpkin purée, water, cinnamon sticks, maple syrup, and nutmeg. Stir well.
  3. Seal the lid and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. After cooking, allow for natural pressure release for about 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to separate the solids from the liquid.
