Description

Quick Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a creamy, flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken and linguine, all enveloped in a rich buttery garlic sauce. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts; cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Lower the heat, add remaining butter, sour cream, and Italian seasoning; stir until creamy.
  5. Toss cooked linguine in the skillet with the sauce and chicken until well coated.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
