  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onions until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
