Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon zest and juice.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown; a toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
