  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates (about 1012 dates)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the pitted Medjool dates until they form a paste.
  3. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Add date paste, eggs, and vanilla extract; stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
