Ingredients
- Sourdough bread
- Fresh shrimp
- Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- Garlic
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice sourdough bread into thick pieces.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then toss in shrimp.
- Cook shrimp until pink (about 3 minutes). Squeeze lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and mix in half of the shredded cheese until slightly melted.
- Place bread on a baking sheet, spoon the shrimp mixture onto each slice, and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
