Chicken and asparagus pasta is a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken, fresh asparagus, and your favorite pasta for a delightful meal ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, mince garlic, and trim asparagus.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some cooking water.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken pieces until browned (6-7 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add asparagus to the skillet. Sauté until bright green but still crisp (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Combine cooked pasta with chicken and asparagus in the skillet. Toss well, adding reserved cooking water if needed for moisture.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and finish with lemon zest before serving.
