  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, combine buttermilk and garlic powder; marinate chicken in this mixture for at least 1 hour.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour (flour, salt, pepper), one with beaten eggs, and one with the buttermilk mixture.

  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat (about 350°F/175°C) and fry chicken until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes per side).
