  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 10 red M&Ms (for noses)
  • 10 pretzel sticks (for antlers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Frost cooled cupcakes generously, add two pretzel sticks as antlers, and an M&M as Rudolph's nose.
