Description

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Boil pasta shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stuff each shell with about 2 tablespoons of the filling and place them in the baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
