Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in raspberries and chocolate chips.
  7. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown; a toothpick should come out clean from the center.
  8. Let cool before slicing into squares.
