Description

Slow Cooker BBQ Baby Back Ribs are a crowd-pleasing dish featuring tender, juicy ribs coated in a rich, sweet, and smoky barbecue sauce. With minimal effort, you can create restaurant-quality ribs that will have your family and friends coming back for seconds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 pounds baby back ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper; rub this mixture over both sides of the ribs.
  3. Place the seasoned ribs upright in the slow cooker and pour apple cider vinegar and half of the BBQ sauce over them.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the ribs to a baking sheet, brush with remaining BBQ sauce, and broil on high for about 5 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Serve hot with extra sauce drizzled on top.
