- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp espresso powder
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, stirring until smooth.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and espresso powder into the wet mixture. Fold gently until combined.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- While cooling, combine mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar and milk until creamy. Spread over cooled brownies.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least an hour before slicing.
