Method
 

Prepare the Texas Toast
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that the Texas toast will be crispy and golden.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. This mixture will give the toast a flavorful base.
  3. Spread the butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of Texas toast. Make sure to cover the entire surface for even flavor.
  4. Place the slices butter-side up on a baking sheet. This will allow them to toast evenly in the oven.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Once the Texas toast is toasted, remove it from the oven and spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on each slice. This will be the base for your toppings.
  2. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce on each slice. This will create a gooey, cheesy layer.
  3. Add your desired toppings, such as pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives. Feel free to customize with your favorite ingredients!
  4. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
Serve
  1. Remove the Texas toast pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. This will make it easier to slice.
  2. Cut each slice into halves or quarters, depending on your preference. Serve warm and enjoy!
