Description

Chicken Parmesan Meatballs are a delightful twist on a classic Italian favorite. These juicy meatballs, made with ground chicken and seasoned to perfection, are baked until golden brown and drenched in rich marinara sauce topped with gooey mozzarella cheese.   • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (ground)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant; add marinara sauce and let it simmer.
  6. Once meatballs are baked, add them to the simmering sauce, sprinkle mozzarella on top, cover for 5 minutes until melted.
