  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 24 Hershey's Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  7. Press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing them from the oven. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
