  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup heat-treated all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: melted semi-sweet chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. Stir in heat-treated flour and salt until combined, resembling cookie dough.
  4. Spread half the melted chocolate on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Dollop spoonfuls of cookie dough over it, leaving gaps.
  5. Pour remaining melted chocolate on top, drizzle with optional chocolate, and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
