  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Pasta

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt (for pasta water)

For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Garnish

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear seasoned steak for 3-4 minutes per side; set aside to rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer; stir in cream cheese until melted.
  5. Mix in Cajun seasoning and grated Parmesan, stirring until blended.
  6. Combine fettuccine with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  7. Slice the rested steak and serve over the pasta; garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the steak for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your preferred doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly.
  6. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  7. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
  9. Add the remaining Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and salt, then let the sauce simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  11. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated.
  12. Top with the sliced steak or gently mix it into the pasta.
  13. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over the top if desired for extra richness.
