  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers (mixed red and green)

  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until softened; add garlic for one minute.
  3. In the crock pot, combine browned beef, sautéed vegetables, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in uncooked elbow macaroni until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours until pasta is tender.
