  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate and butter together in short bursts until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk sugar and eggs until combined. Stir in melted chocolate mixture and peppermint extract until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour and cocoa powder together. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
