- 12 oz lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef or sausage
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1.5 cups ricotta cheese
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage until crumbled; drain excess grease.
- 3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the sheet pan. Layer lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- 4. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles followed by half of the meat and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
- 5. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients until reaching the top of the pan.
- 6. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- 7. Let cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh basil.
