  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz canned whole peeled tomatoes (San Marzano recommended)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather all ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan; mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. For the marinara sauce, sauté diced onions in a pan until translucent. Add crushed canned tomatoes and oregano; simmer for about 10 minutes.
