  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup M&Ms (regular and mini mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in M&Ms until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
