  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 24 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart; slightly flatten each ball.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes or until edges are golden. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  8. Allow cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
