- 3–4 lbs beef chuck roast
- 2 cups salsa (mild, medium, or spicy)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and pat dry. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and golden (about 5 minutes).
- Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic to the slow cooker. Place the seasoned beef on top and pour salsa over it. Sprinkle cumin and chili powder on top.
